Vettel awarded for his environmental initiatives

Sebastian Vettel received an award from the Perfect World Foundation at a ceremony held recently in Sweden, where the four-time world champion was recognized as the "Environmental Advocate of the Year 2026."

The Perfect World Foundation is a global organization with Scandinavian roots advocating for environmental preservation, with the motto "If we lose our nature, we lose everything." This foundation awarded the former Formula 1 driver for his initiatives and projects aimed at raising awareness about ecological issues.

Among the celebrities who have received this award in previous years are Prince Albert II of Monaco and British television journalism veteran, creator of popular nature films worldwide, Sir David Attenborough.

Vettel's projects, particularly his V5 and F1FOREST initiatives, have gained widespread recognition in recent years – these are not just symbolic actions, but real and concrete measures focused on ecology.

"The evening was wonderful, and I am very grateful to have been able to participate," Sebastian commented after the ceremony. "Being in the same room with people who are making a significant contribution is very motivating; you realize that change for the better is possible when people work together."
