The farewell to Zandvoort will be marked on "super Friday".
The Dutch Grand Prix at the end of August will be the last for the Zandvoort circuit. The organizers did not extend the contract but decided to mark the farewell to Formula 1 with large entertainment events throughout the weekend.
The most vibrant will be the first day of the weekend, dubbed "Super Friday." After the activities at the racetrack, there will be a music festival featuring well-known artists. The headliner of the entertainment program will be DJ Afrojack, with confirmed performances by Flemming, Kraantje Pappie, Snelle, and Snollebollekes.
On Sunday after the race, the famous Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix will perform – the best DJ in the world in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022, and 2024 according to DJ Magazine.
Martin Garrix: "As a big fan of Formula 1, I have special feelings closing this chapter and celebrating this event together with fans from all over the world. I have been to Zandvoort many times, and the energy coming from the audience here is simply incredible."
The Dutch Grand Prix will take place from August 21 to 23.
