On the night of Friday, the Williams team violated the curfew rules. Team members whose duties are directly related to servicing the car were on the track during the prohibited time period, which started at 6:00 PM on April 30 and ended at 8:00 AM on May 1. For Williams, this is the first of five individual exceptions for the season, so no penalties will follow.
