Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli has been awarded the prestigious Lorenzo Bandini Award for achievements in motorsport. The award is given not only for existing accomplishments but also highlights the driver's talent, determination, and sporting spirit. Festivities are scheduled for May 30, which will include a ceremonial drive through the Italian racing valley. The start will take place in Imola, after which participants will head to the village of Brisighella, where the official award ceremony will be held at 6:00 PM in Marconi Square. The Lorenzo Bandini Award was established in 1992, and among its laureates over the years have been world champions Michael Schumacher, Jacques Villeneuve, Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Max Verstappen, and Lando Norris. All of them, except Schumacher and Hamilton, received this award before becoming world champions.
