Zak Brown: The intentions to change anything are zero.

We have already talked about the unusually early start of the rumor season in Formula 1 – it is referred to as the "silly season" there – and it is likely that we will have to return to the topic of possible personnel changes and team lineup adjustments more than once.

There are certain reasons for this, one of which is the upcoming move of Gianpiero Lambiasi from Red Bull Racing to McLaren. He is a more than noticeable figure, so it is not out of the question that the event, which is set to take place in 2028, could have some consequences.

Naturally, it is not surprising that Zak Brown, the CEO of McLaren Racing, was asked whether he plans to acquire Max Verstappen in the future.

"I can't praise our drivers enough," Brown replied on Sky Sports. "Lando and Oscar are not only two great guys, which is evident both on and off the track, but they are also excellent teammates. I believe that this is what has allowed McLaren to succeed – that special 'chemistry' that influences our work in the garage, at the base, and on the pit wall, in all departments of the racing team.

I am very satisfied with all of this, and my intentions to change anything are zero. As for Max Verstappen, he is a fantastic driver, so if a vacancy opens up, then, of course, that would be a different conversation.

If you need a good driver, then, in my opinion, there are plenty of excellent drivers. Charles Leclerc is doing a great job, it's nice to see Lewis Hamilton getting back in shape, George Russell is also a great driver, but look at the results Kimi Antonelli is showing!

It almost seems to me that he will become a favorite in the championship battle, although changes happen very quickly in our sport. But I am happy with the drivers I already have, so let's hope I won't have to look for replacements for them."

It is worth adding that Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are tied to McLaren with long-term contracts. The team has not disclosed the duration of these contracts, only that the obligations of the parties are of a multi-year nature.
