Gasly: In a few years, we will be among the leaders.

      This season, Pierre Gasly has scored points in each of the four completed races. Alpine's results have significantly improved compared to last year, which has reflected positively on the French driver's mood. Pierre is confident that the team is on the right track and has the potential to win the title in the coming years.

      Pierre Gasly: "This season is bringing more joy than the last. It's hard to put into words, but the understanding that in 2026 we theoretically have really interesting prospects and huge potential has helped me get through last year.

      I still try to push the team forward and meet my own demands – to give my all in every session and on every lap. But when you show good pace and still end up 15th or somewhere in the midfield without fighting for points, the enjoyment is just not the same.

      Last year, a lot of bad things were said about the team and our form, but it was quite deserved because our results were indeed weak. However, within the team, we understood perfectly well what we were doing. We consciously decided to abandon the old regulations and focused on the new car.

      We knew what changes were happening at the base, and I saw that everything was moving in the right direction. Yes, it did not reflect in the results of last season, so from the outside, it might have seemed that the team was standing still and not developing. But inside, there were many positive signals and an understanding of the potential we have.

      We can't stop here. Even despite a fairly decent start to the season, I still want more. I want to fight with the leaders. They don't seem unattainable – we're not that far behind. But for now, we still lack a bit to really get into that fight. I think it's literally a few tenths. But if we continue in the same spirit and maintain our current progress, we can catch up with the leaders."

      Our goal is the title. It's obvious that we won't achieve it this year, but I see very serious progress. The structure of the team is changing, the working processes are evolving, and our efforts are already starting to pay off.

      Do we have all the components to fight for the title right now? Not yet, as we still need to improve in some areas. But I am confident that we already have all the necessary tools to consistently be ahead and achieve more than we currently do. This is encouraging.

      We look to the future with great enthusiasm. I don't consider it impossible that in a few years we will find ourselves among the leaders. But there is still a lot of work ahead."
