Buemi does not rule out that he will also compete at the Nürburgring.

Sebastien Buemi has long parted ways with Formula 1, but he continues a successful career in other categories, while still collaborating with Red Bull Racing as a simulator driver. The 37-year-old Swiss has won titles in the WEC four times with the factory team Toyota, and he also competes for Envision Racing in the world championship for electric car racing.

This weekend, Sebastien is set to start two Formula E races in Monaco, and he is preparing for it, but he is also keeping an eye on the events happening at the Nürburgring, where his colleague Max Verstappen is debuting in the 24-hour marathon today.

According to Buemi, he does not rule out the possibility that he might want to gain such experience in the future – so far, in all his years of a career in big motorsport, which has lasted two decades, he has not raced at the Nordschleife.

"Yes, that's quite possible. But for that, you need to be in good shape, and I will have to work hard during the tests," Sebastien shared in an interview with RacingNews365. "Of course, you need to get approval, so before the '24 Hours of Nürburgring,' you have to participate in a qualifying race. But if there is an opportunity to undergo quality preparation, and I have enough time for it, I am ready to discuss it.

The level of participants in this marathon is very high, so it is critically important to prepare well. Even if there are many drivers participating whom I have never heard of, they drive very confidently on this track. It is not enough to just be a good driver and think that you will succeed right away. Of course not, as there are many high-level professionals who are not easy to overcome."
