The return of the Extreme H series is scheduled for October.

      The FIA, together with the organizers of Extreme H, has confirmed the dates for the second stage of this series – it will take place in Saudi Arabia from October 29 to 31.

      Let us remind you that the debut race of the new series, which uses Pioneer 25 off-road vehicles with hydrogen powertrains, took place last fall; however, this event attracted little attention from the motorsport press, and we reported on it.

      But now it has become known that the series continues to exist, although it certainly seems strange that its races are held only once a year – no one would think to compare Extreme H with the classic "24 Hours of Le Mans" or Indy 500. Given that these competitions are quite interesting in themselves, both in format and in terms of spectacle, not to mention the innovative technologies embedded in their foundation.

      As stated in the FIA press release, the return of Extreme H reflects the federation's desire to use motorsport as a testing ground for new technologies and engineering solutions aimed at finding alternative energy sources.
