Pirelli announced the tire compounds for the races in Monaco and Barcelona.

Pirelli has announced the tire compounds that will be available to teams at the first two summer races of the season in Monaco and Barcelona. For the Monaco Grand Prix, the Italian tire manufacturer will bring the three softest compounds – C3, C4, and C5. This choice is due to the very smooth asphalt on the city streets, which, combined with the minimal average speed throughout the season, leads to almost no tire wear. The choice of compounds for the Barcelona-Catalonia Grand Prix is one step softer than last year. Teams will receive C2, C3, and C4. The Spanish track is very demanding on tires due to its configuration with many fast and long corners, as well as high temperatures that contribute to thermal wear. However, Pirelli's decision to bring softer tires is related to the desire to stimulate more pit stops during the race.
