At Williams, they hope to build on the success achieved in Miami.

At Williams, the team is gearing up for the Canadian stage of the season with a fighting spirit, hoping to build on the progress made in Miami, where both drivers earned points.

Carlos Sainz: "In Miami, we fought for points and had a solid race – it was not bad, and that’s how we should act in the upcoming weekend. The track in Montreal is significantly different from the circuit in Miami, so the task is to set up the car correctly right away and to act as clearly and focused as possible from the first day.

We have another weekend ahead that includes a sprint, and all of this is also important to consider. The nature of the Canadian track is such that anything can happen, but I’m looking forward to returning to the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit."

Alex Albon: "In Miami, we really took a step in the right direction, and it was great to see that the technical innovations prepared by the team performed well. Therefore, we were able to compete well with drivers from other mid-field teams and scored points with both cars.

At the same time, we understand that Montreal will present us with different challenges, as the Miami circuit suited our car quite well. Although the upcoming weekend will be a true test for the team, it’s important to try to build on that success.

The weather in Canada is always unpredictable, and there is also a high likelihood of a safety car appearing on this track. Moreover, the weekend includes a sprint, so the importance of each session is even greater.

The FW48 car has great potential, but it still needs to be unlocked, and the team will make every effort to achieve this. Before the start of the European stage of the season, we want to have a clearer understanding of where we stand and how we can achieve further improvements."
