Zak Brown: "Our goal is to create an environment where our drivers don’t want to race anywhere else, just like our employees, and our sponsors don’t want to sponsor another team.
You wouldn’t want to force someone to stay just because you have a contract with them. It’s just a piece of paper. You want your employee or sponsor to say, 'I want to race for McLaren, this is the team where I want to become a champion, work as a mechanic, the one I want to sponsor.'
Our goal is to create that atmosphere. And as for the drivers – many teams dream of having our guys, but they race for McLaren."
