Lando Norris: We are used to difficulties.

The reigning world champion awaits the start of the Canadian weekend with cautious optimism…

Lando Norris: “In Miami, the updates worked exactly as we expected, but the track suited us much better than the Canadian one, so I don’t know how everything will turn out this time. I hope it goes well. It will be interesting to see what form Mercedes will be in and what our deficit will be.

We brought a few minor updates; they won’t change much, but it’s important that we take the next step – this confirms the course we’ve chosen. Anything that helps us go faster, even by a hundredth, is great. The team has done a good job; it’s important not to rest on our laurels.

We had a good weekend in Miami, but everything is completely different here; in Canada, it’s always hard to predict the competitive order. We are aiming for the best possible result in every session. A weekend with a Saturday sprint is always challenging, but we are used to difficulties.”
