The revival of the Dakota nameplate isn't the only new addition arriving at Ram dealerships.

On Thursday, during its investor day, Stellantis outlined its revitalization strategy, which includes the launch of the midsize Dakota by Ram. This revamped nameplate will hit showrooms alongside a compact pickup called Rampage and the full-size Ramcharger SUV. Additionally, there will be a complete lineup of performance street trucks.

The Rampage was globally unveiled in 2025, featuring a four-cylinder engine and a design based on the full-size 1500 model. It is expected to enter the U.S. market by 2030 as part of the nine vehicles priced under $40,000 in Stellantis dealerships.

The return of the Dakota as a midsize truck has been confirmed for some time. The truck was presented to dealers, who reacted by stating, “Toyota better be cautious—we will start competing with them on the Tacoma front. That’s significant.” Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis mentioned to The Drive in February that the Dakota should be a “real truck” and priced below $40,000. Stellantis also indicated that the Dakota will be the “most powerful” midsize truck available.

Furthermore, Ram reconfirmed plans for a full-size three-row SUV, and Kuniskis previously shared with The Drive that it would be called Ramcharger—a "pretty obvious guess."

All three new Ram models are set to debut by 2030, although the manufacturing location for the Rampage in America remains unspecified.

Kuniskis stated that the entire lineup will include performance street trucks, which kickstarted on Wednesday with the reintroduction of the Rumble Bee series, featuring four trucks including a Hellcat-powered model.

Stellantis asserts that the extended-range electric Ram Rev, which was originally intended to be the Ramcharger before its electric variant was shelved, is still on its way. However, the timeline for its release is uncertain, but all developments are anticipated by 2030 as part of an initiative to increase sales volume.
