Red Bull employs longtime Ferrari insider Rosato.
He dedicated nearly thirty years to Ferrari.
Red Bull Racing has subtly enhanced its off-track framework by bringing on longtime Ferrari associate Gino Rosato as a consultant. This decision comes amidst notable recent turmoil at Red Bull, following a series of high-profile exits in the last couple of seasons, including Adrian Newey, Jonathan Wheatley, and - looking ahead - Max Verstappen's renowned race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase.
As reported by De Telegraaf journalist Erik van Haren, 54-year-old Canadian Rosato, who had a close connection with the legendary Michael Schumacher, has already begun his role and will be present at selected Grands Prix this season. It is believed that he shares a strong personal bond with both Jos and Max Verstappen.
A highly esteemed figure in the paddock, Rosato was with Ferrari for nearly thirty years from the mid-1990s until 2023, collaborating with team leaders such as Jean Todt, Stefano Domenicali, and Mattia Binotto. Rosato briefly departed from Formula 1 to serve as vice president at Lotus before eventually returning to Ferrari. He is also known for his particularly close relationship with 2007 world champion Kimi Raikkonen, having taken on the role of godfather to his son, Robin.
