Windows: Everything is turning out worse than we expected.

      As a result of the qualifying session for the sprint at the Canadian track, the Haas F1 drivers found themselves in the middle of the second ten – Esteban Ocon showed the 14th result, Oliver Berman – 15th.

      Oliver Berman (15th): "It was a tough day, to be honest. We expected that thanks to the technical updates we would be able to make a step forward immediately, but that didn't happen.

      During the practice, we faced significant difficulties, and we managed to figure out very little. Before the sprint qualifying, we made significant adjustments to the settings, and we still need to check how effective they are.

      I couldn't achieve the desired level of grip, I didn't feel confident in the car, its balance wasn't the best, but let's see what we can figure out in the evening. It's a shame that it turned out this way, but that's how weekends with a sprint go.

      Due to the constant interruptions in the sessions, we didn't complete even half of the planned program, and if you're working with new updates and various disruptions arise, as happened today, it creates additional challenges."

      Esteban Ocon (14th): "We were very lucky during practice, as the impact with the barrier was very strong, and its consequences may show up tomorrow. But only the front wing was damaged on the car, and in such a situation, that's the best that could have happened.

      We had some difficulties when trying to find the right settings: when we attacked the curbs, it seemed that the suspension was too stiff. Then we managed to achieve some minor improvements, but there is still a lot to do before Saturday's qualifying.

      We are working at maximum effort, comparing the old version of the car with the updated one and working on the settings. As it turned out, things are going worse than we expected."
