If you’re hesitant to venture outside and want the world to know, Rezvani has the solution for you. This custom vehicle manufacturer began with a redesigned Ariel Atom but has since shifted focus to “tactical” vehicles that merge the foundations of existing off-roaders with aggressive styling. The latest model in their range is the Fortress, a Ford F-150 Raptor that Rezvani claims offers “tactical luxury redefined.”

The name Fortress is fitting, as this pickup resembles something constructed from reinforced concrete. The bold, angular design aims to present the truck with an “intimidating presence” and “instill a sense of power, confidence, and security unmatched by any other truck,” according to the promotional material. This is more than just military-themed aesthetics; an optional Armored Package equips the Fortress with armored body panels, ballistic glass, and blast-resistant underbody protection, in addition to a reinforced suspension to accommodate the added weight.

The package also includes run-flat tires and fuel-tank protection to assist in escaping threats, along with electrified door handles, magnetic deadbolts, and an emergency escape system in case of failure. For those seeking offensive capabilities, the Armored Package features a smoke screen, strobe lights to disorient potential assailants, a reinforced bumper for ramming, and a siren and PA system.

After surviving an onslaught of zombies, the Off-Grid Package offers solar panels, an inverter, a gas generator, water storage, an iceless cooler, and an air compressor, all designed for endurance in a post-apocalyptic world. Satellite connectivity and long-range radios help maintain communication with any remaining survivors, which seems unusually benevolent for the truck’s intended audience.

Similar to the Raptor it’s based on, the Fortress can be equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 or a supercharged 5.2-liter V8, both paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rezvani promises 850 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque from the V8, which is 130 hp and 10 lb-ft higher than a standard F-150 Raptor R. The standard Fox Live Valve internal-bypass shocks are included, along with Ford’s Terrain Management System, Crawl Control, and Trail Turn Assist features.

Rezvani provides options for 17-inch, 18-inch, or 20-inch beadlock-capable wheels and 37-inch or 40-inch tires, giving the Fortress up to 15 inches of ground clearance, an approach angle of up to 38 degrees, and a departure angle of up to 29 degrees—all improvements over a standard Raptor with 37s. Rezvani also asserts that the Fortress can traverse up to 45 inches of water in case the bold styling fails to inspire confidence and you need to make a quick getaway across a river.

As with other Rezvani models, the Fortress will be limited to just 100 units. Prices start at $285,000, which is $100,000 more than the Jeep Wrangler-based Rezvani Tank. Alternatively, you can opt for the seven-seat Vengeance (built on the Cadillac Escalade) for the same price. Personally, I’d prefer a genuine military vehicle, which provides authentic tactical appeal for less, even without the comforts of a modern pickup or SUV.
