A meeting of the Formula 1 Commission took place in London.

      On June 2, the second meeting of the Formula 1 Commission for 2026 took place at the FIA office in London, chaired by FIA Director of Single-Seater Racing Nicholas Tombazis and FOM President and CEO Stefano Domenicali.

      The meeting agreed on minor changes to the regulations concerning aerodynamics and bodywork elements. A proposal to increase the number of pre-season testing days from three to four in 2027 was approved.

      Changes to the rules for testing previous cars (Testing of Previous Cars, TPC) were confirmed – testing is limited to tracks where a championship race will take place the following year.

      All changes to the regulations must be approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council.
