Sergio Perez fined, Hajar - not.
Sergio Perez finished tenth in Monaco and brought Cadillac its first earned point in Formula 1, but the joy in the team was short-lived. The stewards penalized the Mexican driver for incorrectly positioning himself at the restart – the front right wheel of his car was outside the position marked by white lines. For this violation, Perez received the standard penalty – a 10-second addition to his final result. As a result, Sergio moved to 15th place, while Fernando Alonso climbed to tenth. This is Aston Martin's first earned point of the season. For another violation, when on the way to the starting grid the Mexican driver crossed the white line separating the pit lane exit from the track to overtake other cars, the stewards issued Sergio Perez his first warning of the season. In the incident involving Isaac Hajar, the stewards did not impose any penalties. When the race was stopped with red flags, the mechanics of Red Bull Racing were performing unauthorized operations on Hajar's car, specifically attempting to replace the spark plugs/ignition coils. However, they ultimately did not proceed with this, and the car remained in the same condition it was in when it entered the pit lane.
