70 minutes to the start: Comment from George Russell
George Russell starts in Monaco only sixth, but hopes to make up for it...
George Russell: "Of course, today is a new day, and we know that racing on a track like Monaco is a tough challenge, but I will do everything I can. What happened yesterday is in the past, and now we need to move forward.
Making up positions won't be easy, as overtaking is always difficult here, but no one knows what tactics the competitors starting ahead of me will choose, what tactical games they will play – I mean Ferrari and Red Bull – and as we remember, there is always a chance that chaos will ensue on the track, as it did last year.
I plan to take advantage of any opportunity that arises, and we'll see what happens. The mood is great, there is an incredible amount of spectators in the stands, and the Monaco Grand Prix always unfolds in a somewhat surreal scenario, and I am already looking forward to the race."
