The FIA will consider Alpine's request regarding Gasly's penalties on Thursday.
After the finish of the Monaco Grand Prix, Alpine exercised its right to appeal and submitted a request to the FIA to review two penalties imposed on Pierre Gasly for speeding in the pit lane during the race.
Pierre Gasly finished third but dropped to seventh place in the race protocol after two five-second penalties were added to his result.
Today, the FIA confirmed that the first hearing regarding Alpine's request will take place on Thursday, June 11, in Barcelona. It will start at 1:00 PM local time (2:00 PM Moscow time).
At this hearing, the FIA will assess whether the team has provided substantial and important new details that were not available at the time of the initial consideration by the stewards. Only if they are deemed to be so will a second meeting be scheduled, at which the substance of Alpine's request will be considered.
However, if the FIA concludes that no new information has been received, the request will be rejected, and the penalties against Gasly will remain in effect.
