Alpine thanked the FIA for reviewing Gasly's penalties.
Alpine released a statement after the stewards canceled two penalties for Pierre Gasly for speeding in Monaco. The team thanked the FIA for the decision made.
"We welcome the FIA's decision to recognize our request for a review of the Monaco Grand Prix results as admissible for consideration," the Alpine statement said. "As a result, the stewards canceled both five-second penalties imposed on car number 10, allowing the team to reclaim third place in the race.
We want to thank the FIA and Formula One Management for their openness and cooperation throughout the review process, as well as for the decision made.
Now the team's focus is on the stage in Barcelona. Our goal is to achieve the best possible result with both cars."
