Lando Norris and Valentino Rossi will participate in Goodwood.
The reigning Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris and seven-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi will participate in the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will take place from July 9 to 12.
For Rossi, this will be his first appearance at Goodwood since 2015. Back then, Valentino rode a Yamaha YZR-M1 in a special livery and then drove the winning Mazda 787B from Le Mans, the rally Lancia Delta S4 Group B, and Derek Bell's Porsche 962, which started from pole at Le Mans in 1986.
Lando Norris will be the second reigning Formula 1 champion in the last three years to visit Goodwood. In 2024, Max Verstappen participated in the Festival of Speed with Red Bull.
Lando has visited Goodwood before. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to drive in the rain the 1970 McLaren-Chevrolet M8D from the Can-Am series, Ayrton Senna's championship McLaren MP4/5B from 1990, as well as the McLaren M23, with which Emerson Fittipaldi won the title in 1974.
Norris and Rossi are ambassadors for the Monster Energy brand and will participate in the Monster Celebration show, although details have not yet been disclosed. It is known that Valentino will visit Goodwood on July 10, while Lando will be there on July 10 and 11.
