Lawson dismisses rumors regarding his departure from Racing Bulls.

"It's still too early to discuss these matters."

Liam Lawson has dismissed the increasing rumors that he might lose his Racing Bulls position at the season's end. Recent reports have been connecting Red Bull junior Nikola Tsolov with a potential promotion to the 2027 season, with expectations that the Bulgarian could team up with Arvid Lindblad as the new generation of Red Bull drivers takes shape. Swiss journalist Roger Benoit, writing for Blick, suggests that Tsolov is a strong candidate. "With (Fernando) Alonso's protégé, they have a solid internal alternative," he stated. Nevertheless, no decision seems to have been made yet. When questioned about the rumors on Thursday at the Red Bull Ring, Lawson maintained that his focus is on the current season. "It’s too early to start talking about these things," he remarked. "Honestly, I’m satisfied with everything right now, and the team is in high spirits. The season has been good for me so far, and I’m truly enjoying it. There's certainly a lot to learn with these cars, and we’re addressing that every weekend. We have good pace and are striving to sustain it." The New Zealander feels that a complete season of Formula 1 experience has made him "stronger and better," following his challenging two-race stint alongside Max Verstappen last year. "My entry into Formula 1 wasn’t straightforward, with many challenges, but now that I’ve completed a full season, I feel very at ease. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge over the past year, and everything is progressing well at the moment."
