The 2026 season of the Russian Endurance Racing Series (REC) will continue on July 11 at the Igora Drive racetrack near St. Petersburg. A total of 37 crews will line up for the start of the 4-hour marathon of the third stage.

The upcoming race holds key strategic significance, as the cost of mistakes for title contenders doubles, and the standings in the championship could change radically.

Battles for victory, podium places, and points will unfold in each of the five classes, with the main intrigue expected in the fight for first place in the overall standings between teams with the fastest cars from the CN Pro and GT Pro categories.

The first two stages of the season at Moscow Raceway were won by crews in GT Pro machinery. In the season opener, the duo of Alexander Vartanyan and Kirill Smal won behind the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS GT3 from the VRacing team, while in the next marathon, the strongest were Capital RT drivers Mikhail Alyoshin and Denis Remenyako in the Mercedes-AMG GT3.

For the third stage of the season, Alexey Nesov, who won the famous "24 Hours of Spa" 2024 in the Bronze Cup category (10th place overall) and reached the podium in the "24 Hours of Dubai" 2025 marathon, will join the Time4Race team (crew No. 10) and Maxim Kizilov.

The race start is scheduled for 17:00. The live broadcast will be available on F1News.ru.
