Berman: In Spa, a challenge awaits you in every sector.

The Haas F1 team is preparing for the Belgian Grand Prix, which traditionally takes place on the historic circuit in Spa, hosting World Championship stages since 1950. Although the configuration of the Belgian track has changed several times since then, the 7-kilometer circuit remains the longest on the Formula 1 calendar.

Special challenges may arise from weather surprises in the Ardennes, but at the same time, opportunities may present themselves, and the American team intends to take advantage of this.

Ayo Komatsu, team principal: "Spa is one of the most challenging tracks on the calendar, so it's important to make the most of every session starting from Friday. Especially since the last two races have been difficult for us, our cars have not been fast enough to compete for points.

We have a plan of action, the essence of which is to not only maximize the performance of the VF-26 in Spa but also to provide the specialists working at the team's base with valuable information that will be used in the process of further chassis upgrades.

In the previous races, the team acted clearly and cohesively, so we will try to build on that and fully execute the planned program. The team will continue to move forward and will do everything possible to achieve a good result this weekend."

Oliver Berman: "Spa is such a racetrack that every driver looks forward to returning to. It's an incredible circuit with a rich history, and every sector presents a real challenge. Of course, Eau Rouge is considered its hallmark, but personally, I like the Pouhon corner the most.

The weather can make the events even more interesting, as the area around the track has its own microclimate, and I would be very surprised if it stays dry. Although the weather conditions keep everyone on edge, our team may have the opportunity to fight for points in adverse weather – that's exactly what we need right now.

We continue to work, paying attention to various aspects, while knowing what we need to focus on first. I'm very curious about what we will achieve this upcoming weekend, but it's important to do everything that depends solely on us as well as possible."

Esteban Ocon: "The weekend in Silverstone was not easy for our team, but personally, I felt much more comfortable behind the wheel than in several previous races. One can hope that it will be the same in Spa.

I always love returning to this legendary track, where races often unfold in an exciting scenario. It was there that I made my Formula 1 debut in 2016 and also achieved my best qualifying result of my career, so I have many memories associated with Spa. Time flies, and I can't believe it's been ten years since my very first race.

The weather during the Belgian weekend is often unpredictable, which can create additional difficulties and provide some opportunities, so we need to be ready to adapt and make the most of any situation."
