Greetings! Are you a car enthusiast? Naturally, you are! Regardless of your specific interests, this auction features items from the estate of John Harrah—yes, that Harrah. From Porsches to rugged pickup trucks and top-notch tools, there's something here for anyone who enjoys working on vehicles (or tools) for fun.
This collection may not be as extensive as some previous museum lots we've seen, but it compensates for its smaller size with diversity. One of my favorite items isn’t even a car; it's a replica Porsche 356 ride-on toy aimed at children. Watch out, Power Wheels!
The cars themselves range from showroom condition to extensively modified street and track vehicles. There's a pristine E46 Coupe (styled as a tribute to the E46 CSL, from what I can tell) as well as almost all the equipment necessary to create another one.
We’re talking about lifts (both two- and four-post), a Snap-On tire mounting setup, and enough tool cabinets to run your own hardware shop, plus all the fabrication tools required to start producing your own parts. Want your own CNC machine? Yes, they have that too. There are also fume extractors, drill presses, and a plethora of portable equipment you could possibly desire.
It is also evident that Harrah had a fondness for Jeeps. The auction includes four—three Wranglers and a Gladiator—with three of them appearing to be straight off one of Mopar Performance Parts' SEMA displays. The one that seems closest to stock is the 2023 model painted in Earl Grey. It’s a 20th anniversary Rubicon featuring the 392 engine, which likely explains why it remains unmodified.
If you’re searching for something more adaptable, there's a 2024 Rubicon 392 included. You won’t jeopardize your future Barrett-Jackson opportunities by customizing that one. After all, Jeep has indicated that the V8 is no longer a limited-edition option.
Everything depicted here (along with the rest of the collection) will be auctioned starting August 5th, with the auction concluding on the 15th. There’s no reserve on any items, so this is your opportunity to potentially snag some high-quality shop equipment (or your next off-road vehicle) at a bargain. Happy hunting!
