Kulthard proposes to abolish fines for engine replacements.

      In the recent stage in Spa, five drivers lost positions at the start due to the replacement of power unit elements. Former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard believes that such penalties are outdated and do not correspond to modern Formula 1.

      David Coulthard: "I still think that all these penalties should be reconsidered. It seems to me that this is a relic of the past and those times when such measures were used to force teams to make more reliable cars. But now reliability already meets the interests of each team."

      Commenting on the race in Spa, where Lando Norris and Isaac Hadjar started 13th and 21st respectively due to penalties, Coulthard noted: "This opened up opportunities for Hadjar, who switched to Hard early and then had a great race. He utilized the speed of his car and finished sixth.

      Lando Norris could have made a pit stop under the virtual safety car, but he didn't. Nevertheless, he managed to fight his way to seventh place. So both had a very strong race."
