A pair of racing bulls goes viral during a budget flight.
"That’s how I found myself seated in 3E next to Liam."
Racing Bulls teammates Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson went viral after they took an EasyJet flight home from Spa together. They posted a selfie from row three with the caption "Stay humble," a rare occurrence in a paddock where most drivers opt for private jets or business class travel. "I don’t have a lot of money, so I usually take regular scheduled flights," rookie Lindblad said. "There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. I’ve always done it this way. If I can save a little money, then I’m happy to do so." The 18-year-old British rookie described how he ended up sitting next to Lawson. "We were supposed to be in seats 3D and 3F. The woman seemed a bit upset when I mentioned that I had the aisle seat. I offered to move to the middle seat if she wanted to stay. That’s how I ended up in 3E next to Liam." When asked if the passenger recognized him, Lindblad chuckled, "If she’s a Formula 1 fan, she probably doesn’t like me!" The flight experienced a delay of about two hours and didn't take off until midnight. "It was a long evening," Lawson remarked, "but it was fine." When asked how often he flies in economy class, the 24-year-old New Zealander responded, "Quite often, actually."
