Transforming a pickup truck with a retro flair is not a novel concept. In fact, I was initially hesitant about whether these retro Ford Super Duty pickups from ALM Ford Marietta were worth covering. However, after viewing the images and recognizing the appeal for many of you, I decided to proceed.

Up for sale are two 2026 Ford Super Duty F-250 XLT single cabs, featuring enough custom modifications to give them a classic appeal. What I appreciate most is that they aren't excessively modified or overdone. They include just the right amount of retro touches both inside and out (primarily outside) to evoke nostalgia. The more understated of the two is clad in Carbonized Gray Metallic, while the bold one showcased above sports a Race Red finish.

Regardless of your choice, both trucks come equipped with the same Rocky Ridge Retro Edition aftermarket enhancements, which consists of a graphics package, an odd new badge resembling a Transformer or Gladiator helmet, LED off-road lights on the front bumper, and a notable 4.5-inch suspension lift to accommodate 37-inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires.

Inside, the trucks maintain a mostly stock configuration, which is a positive aspect. The single cab design is functional and practical, and after spending considerable time in Super Duty trucks over the years, I can attest to their comfort. In this instance, the factory cloth (or vinyl) bench seat receives a stylish upgrade courtesy of Katzkin seat covers featuring a retro plaid pattern. When not occupied, the bench seat folds forward to create a flat workstation complete with cupholders and additional storage.

Beneath the hood of these semi-custom trucks lies Ford’s reliable 7.3-liter gas V8, paired with the standard 10-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, both trucks offer four-wheel drive.

Both vehicles are priced at approximately $85,000, which is certainly not cheap. However, many truck buyers are willing to pay a premium for something that is already built and ready for use. Turnkey customs are popular sellers, whether styled like this or in a more contemporary fashion. Regardless, it's likely that these won't remain on the lot for long.
