Audi F1 drivers are impressed by the Nuvolari supercar.

      Before the Monaco Grand Prix, Audi F1 drivers participated in the presentation of a new supercar, created in record time by the German company, and we reported on it. Now, Audi's press service has presented a 20-minute documentary dedicated to the development and testing process of the car named after the legendary Italian racer Tazio Nuvolari. From the inception of the concept to the construction of the first prototype, only 405 days passed, and this is certainly impressive, as are the technical specifications of the car. "The Nuvolari project is an astonishing example of how quickly we can turn ideas into reality in our company, which fully aligns with our motto Vorsprung durch Technik ('Advantage through Technology')," said Gernot Döllner, head of Audi. "When this car first hit the track, you had to see the happy faces of the people who participated in its creation. It is impossible to describe in words the feeling when you first see in reality what just recently existed only as a sketch." It is quite logical that the testing of the Audi Nuvolari was entrusted to the drivers of the factory Formula 1 team – the first tests took place on the high-speed track of the Italian Nardò Technical Center. "To be honest, I still feel that rush of adrenaline! The car is very fast, it has an incredible engine sound and excellent handling. You can feel its distinctly sporty character, yet it is very safe, and I want to drive more laps to truly feel how good it is on the move," commented Gabriel Bortoleto. Nico Hülkenberg continued testing the supercar at the factory site in Neustadt, after which he said: "The power unit exceeds 1000 hp, and the car has such acceleration dynamics that it is truly impressive." At the end of the year, Audi will begin accepting orders for the Nuvolari, and production of the car is set to start in the first quarter of 2027. Vehicles of this level are produced in very limited quantities – only 499 units of the supercar are expected to be built, each costing around 600,000 euros.
