Tom McCullough will move from Aston Martin to Red Bull.
According to unofficial information, Red Bull Racing has found a suitable candidate to replace Gianpiero Lambiase, as he will be moving to McLaren in the near future. The German tabloid Bild reports that his duties will be entrusted to Tom McCullough. Lambiase is currently not only working with Max Verstappen but has also held the position of chief race engineer since 2022. McCullough is 50 years old and is a very experienced specialist, having dedicated more than 20 years to Formula 1. His career began at Williams, where he initially worked as a data engineer and then became a race engineer, working in that capacity with Nico Hülkenberg, Rubens Barrichello, and Bruno Senna. Since 2013, McCullough has been collaborating with the team from Silverstone, which was then known as Force India, and has since changed its name several times, now being Aston Martin F1. Until January of last year, he was the chief race engineer, but the team underwent restructuring, and he was transferred to a related division, Aston Martin Performance Technologies, where he was no longer involved in F1 but in other racing categories in which cars of this British brand compete. Bild does not report when Tom McCullough will begin a new chapter in his career related to Red Bull.
