A rare Ferrari, like Verstappen's, was caught by the London police.

      The London police conducted a massive raid over the past weekend to combat dangerous and irresponsible driving on the roads of the British capital, and the results turned out to be quite interesting.

      Among the one and a half dozen different cars driven by London speedsters was a Ferrari Monza SP2, of which only 499 units were produced. In particular, one was in Max Verstappen's personal garage – most likely, it still is.

      This is a truly special car, so the news of such a valuable "catch" by law enforcement immediately made it into all local media. Initially, such a car cost $2 million, but now its auction price reaches up to five million. The model was produced from 2019 to 2023 and was equipped with 800-horsepower 6.5-liter V12 engines. The maximum speed is around 300 km/h, and it accelerates to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.

      At one time, only selected clients could order such a car in Maranello, but likely, at auction, anyone with spare millions – in this case, pounds sterling – can acquire it.

      When experts evaluate Verstappen's collection of sports cars, its total value reaches $290 million – that is if these cars are sold at auction. Moreover, in some hypothetical ranking of his automotive treasures, the Ferrari Monza SP2 ranks second, only behind the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

      The roadster that is now in the impound lot of the London police was imported into the United Kingdom just a day ago, it had only a temporary registration, and there was no insurance at all, meaning that formally, this black Ferrari with the beautiful name Nero Daytona cannot be driven on public roads at all.

      However, the person who was behind the wheel of the collectible sports car was stopped and detained literally half an hour after the trip began, but he will have to answer many unpleasant questions for much longer.
