Over 11 stages of the season, Liam Lawson has scored 43 points and is in 9th place in the individual standings, while rookie Arvid Lindblad has 20 points less and is currently 11th. In the previous two Grands Prix in Belgium and Hungary, they had a close battle, with Arvid winning the first and his teammate winning the second. And Permain is not planning to intervene in the situation for now.
"There were a couple of moments in Hungary when the atmosphere became slightly tense, but I have to trust the drivers," Permain is quoted as saying by Racer. "Of course, we discuss this before the race, and I tell them: 'You can race on the track, but do not make contact - understood?'"

The team from Faenza has never finished a season in the top five of the Constructors' Cup, but they currently occupy 5th place, five points ahead of Alpine F1. "Everything is going wonderfully," he said. "Of course, this has been achieved thanks to the efforts of everyone working in Faenza and Milton Keynes. All the technical innovations we have implemented have proven effective. We are installing quite significant new components on the car, going out on the track - and everything works. The drivers are managing to earn points - overall, we are doing great in all areas."
The intensity of the rivalry between Lawson and Lindblad is also explained by the fact that each of them is eager to prove that they are worthy of a contract with Red Bull Racing in the future, should a vacancy arise there. However, Liam has already raced for this team, and we remember how that ended. And although much has changed since then, it seems that Arvid's chances, who just turned 19 a couple of days ago, are somewhat higher.
