Arvid Lindblad will try to help his new partner.

In the lead-up to the Dutch Grand Prix, circumstances have unfolded such that the drivers of both Red Bull teams have become the heroes of some very important news, and it's not just about Max Verstappen's new long-term contract.

It became known the day before that Isaac Hajar was injured and forced to miss the Dutch stage of the championship, so Liam Lawson will be driving the French driver's car this weekend, and Yuki Tsunoda will become Arvid Lindblad's new teammate. The Japanese driver has been racing for AlphaTauri/Racing Bulls for five seasons and is serving as a reserve driver this year.

Arvid Lindblad: "Will I have any difficulties related to the appearance of a new teammate? Definitely, Yuki has an interesting weekend ahead, as these cars are very different from the ones he has driven before, plus this stage includes a sprint.

Zandvoort is not the easiest track, and of course, I will try to help him reach the necessary speed levels. But I don't know him very well; our paths have hardly crossed before, but we have always had a normal friendly relationship, so the upcoming weekend, when we will be teammates, should go well.

To be honest, I am quite satisfied with how things are going for me, and in several races leading up to the summer break, I had a lot of fun, gained good momentum, and I would be happy to continue in the same vein in the upcoming stages.

But since the schedule has been very tight since the beginning of the year, I was glad to rest during the summer break, I feel that I have regained my strength and am ready for the upcoming weekend. I believe we have a good car, the team has worked hard to increase its speed, and I think we can expect similar results to those we showed in previous races.

It seems we are competitive, the VCARB 03 confidently handles tracks of any type, so I hope we can maintain a good level."

When Lindblad was asked if the scenario was discussed where he would be behind the wheel of the second Red Bull Racing car this weekend instead of Lawson, Arvid replied: "I don't know. I was only informed of all this news on Tuesday."
