Marquez clarifies the reasoning behind Hadjar's withdrawal.

"My life has undergone significant changes since my injury in Jerez."

Marc Marquez has stated that Isack Hadjar reached out to him for guidance before opting to sit out the Dutch GP due to his wrist injury. Hadjar had previously mentioned that Marquez's perspective played a role in his decision not to take the risk of racing at Zandvoort. In a conversation before the Aragon MotoGP, Marquez, who shares a physiotherapist with the Red Bull racer, confirmed the interaction.

"Hadjar reached out to me," he noted. "I’m not a doctor, of course, but I offered him some advice because for a rider, these situations can be extremely challenging."

"There are times when you think, 'Alright, maybe I can compete.' But it's tough to accept the reality of saying, 'I'm going to skip this race and focus on being as prepared as possible for the next one.'"

Marquez pointed to his own injury history as validation for his advice. "I've learned from my own experiences that missing a race doesn’t alter the direction of your life, whereas worsening your injury by coming back too soon can lead to significant repercussions."

"My life has changed a great deal since my injury in Jerez. I just wanted to share this advice with Isack."

"And I believe he made the right choice because he has a promising future ahead of him."
