Pirelli has announced the tire compounds for Baku, Sepang, and Singapore.

      Pirelli today informed the teams about the tire compounds they will receive for the autumn series of three consecutive races, which will start at the end of September with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and conclude in early October at the Singapore Grand Prix.

      For the street circuits in Baku and Singapore, the tire manufacturer has chosen the softest trio of compounds: C3 will be Hard, C4 will be Medium, and C5 will be Soft.

      At the Bahrain Grand Prix, which will take place this year at the Malaysian Sepang circuit from October 2 to 4, teams will receive the medium trio of compounds – C2, C3, and C4. The asphalt in Sepang is characterized by increased abrasiveness and has not been repaired since the last Formula 1 race held there in 2017. The decision not to use the hardest compounds there is aimed at reducing the lap time difference between the one-stop and two-stop strategies, which helps to expand the number of possible options.
