Nikita Mazepin starts from pole in the STT race in Spa.

      Former Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin returned to the wheel in international competitions for the first time since 2025. This weekend, Mazepin is participating in the German semi-professional racing series Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy (STT), taking place as part of the ADAC Racing Weekend at the Belgian circuit Spa-Francorchamps. Nikita is driving the Mercedes AMG GT3 for the Motopark team. On Friday, the only practice session took place, after which the starting grid for Saturday's race was formed. Nikita set the best lap time of 2:16.618 seconds and will start from pole position. In comparison, the second-place starter, Thomas Ambily, in the Duqueine D-08 LMP3 sports prototype, completed his lap in 2:20.778 seconds. The start of the Saturday race of the Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy at Spa is scheduled for 13:40 local time (14:40 Moscow time). A live broadcast is expected on the official ADAC Motorsport channel.
