Sebastian Vettel and Rubens Barrichello will each drive Michael Schumacher’s iconic Ferrari F2002 at Monza this weekend, part of the celebration of 30 years since Schumacher joined the team in Maranello. Ferrari has announced that Barrichello will take the wheel on Saturday afternoon. "The Brazilian has a unique bond with this car, having driven it to victory in the 2002 Italian Grand Prix," the team remarked. Shortly before the race on Sunday, Vettel will then take over the vehicle for a celebratory lap. "On Sunday, before the Grand Prix begins, four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel will drive the same car in a lap commemorating Schumacher’s impact." "For 'Seb', who looked up to Michael before eventually becoming a Ferrari driver, as well as for all the fans in the stands, it will be a particularly poignant moment." The F2002 is considered one of Ferrari’s most formidable cars, securing 15 wins out of 17 races in 2002, with Schumacher clinching the drivers' championship with six races left in the season. This demonstration is part of Ferrari's extensive tribute at Monza, which also features a special Schumacher-inspired livery for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
