      Tras la conclusión del Gran Premio de Las Vegas se descubrió que los monoplazas de Lando Norris y Oscar Piastri no cumplían con el reglamento técnico.

      La inspección técnica de los monoplazas de McLaren reveló que la plancha de control bajo el fondo estaba más desgastada de lo permitido y no cumplía los requisitos. Según el reglamento técnico, el espesor mínimo admisible de la plancha de control a lo largo de toda su longitud es de 9 mm, y en los monoplazas de Norris y Piastri es inferior.

      La infracción ha sido remitida a los comisarios para su examen; ambos pilotos de McLaren se enfrentan a la descalificación.
