Lando Norris: I've made mistakes, but I've learned from them

      Lando Norris said that he has learned from past mistakes and is ready to challenge any rival in 2025. Last season, the British racer McLaren became vice-champion of the world and, of course, made a very important contribution to the victory of his team in the Constructors Cup. Taking part in the BBC podcast, which is called F1: Back at Base, Norris admitted that he was upset when he lost the dispute for the title of Max Verstappen. "When you finally realize that the title is lost, it is a difficult experience - said Lando. - That's what I've been striving for since I was a kid and that's all I want to do. So, when that candle goes out, when you realize it's over, it hurts. Still, it was a year where I was proud of my results, proud of the way I handled the pressure. But at the same time, I made mistakes, but I learned from them. So looking ahead to next season, there is reason to hope that we have a good car and we have everything we need. I think I've become quite a good racer and I have all the right qualities. I'm excited about the 2025 season because I know I've learned a lot, I've performed much better and I'm ready to fight with any opponent." According to Norris, one of the most important qualities he tried to develop in himself last year was confidence in his abilities: "In the past, I've lacked confidence in myself. And I believe that in 2024, I have enough confidence in myself, so I'm confident that I can win the championship next season and challenge anyone who wants to compete with me".
