      Rafael Villagomez will continue his career in Formula 2 in 2025. The Mexican racer extended the contract with the team Van Amersfoort Racing, for which he played last season. In 2024 Rafael earned 13 points and took 24th place in the individual standings. His best result was 7th place in Sunday's race in Melbourne. Rafael Villagomez: "I am very happy that I will continue to perform in Formula 2 with the team Van Amersfoort Racing. It's going to be an important year for me and the team. At the end of last season we started to work out, so I hope to continue in the same way. We have done a lot over the winter, and now I'm looking forward to the tests in Barcelona".
