Max Verstappen: Every year I strive to be better
Max Verstappen gave an interview to his official website, in which he shared his thoughts on the season 2025 and the upcoming fatherhood. Question: Max, in 2025 you will be waiting for the eleventh season with Red Bull. What does this achievement means to you? Max Verstappen: I have been in Formula 1 for a long time. The fact that I will start the eleventh season, sounds crazy, but I can not wait to find out what lies ahead of me. Question: Speaking on what tracks you are looking forward to the most? Max Verstappen: Personally, I have always liked Spa and Zandfort most of all. They are two great circuits. Spa has always been my favorite and Zandforth is my home circuit, so I have good memories with it as well. I'm looking forward to these stages the most, as they are unique both in terms of piloting and interaction with the fans. Q: This season you will have a new teammate Liam Lawson. What do you think about that? Max Verstappen: It's all very exciting. We've all seen Liam grow up in the Red Bull family, so it will be exciting to work together with him and the team. I really hope that together we will work well, try to improve the car and become more competitive. Question: What is the difference between Red Bull and other teams? Max Verstappen: Personally for me the difference is that I can be myself. I think it is very important. I have been with the team for many years, so they have become a second family for me. Also, it seems that on average we have more fun than other teams, and that is also a very important factor. Q: In 2025 you will become a father. How will your life change? Max Verstappen: Honestly, I hope that there will be few changes. From the point of view of piloting the car nothing should change. Otherwise it should be great. It's very difficult to put emotions into words until the baby is born. But, of course, I look forward to it. Question: What goals you set for the season? Max Verstappen: I always strive to show stable results and do not make a lot of mistakes. I try to improve every year - I'm not talking about the car, but about piloting. At this stage of my career I have fewer opportunities to add less than when I was 18, but I still want to get better every year.
