Alain Prost is 70 years old!
Four-time world champion Alain Prost celebrates his 70th birthday today.
The best French Formula 1 driver, one of the best drivers of all time, one of the symbols of the great era and part of the most famous confrontation, who won titles in the great British teams McLaren and Williams.
In 13 seasons in Formula 1, Prost has won 51 victories, 33 pole positions and 106 podiums. He also has 41 best laps of the race.

On the track, Prost was the exact opposite of the established image of such a dashing racer – he was always distinguished by his composure, but at the same time he was quite nervous.
In contrast to Nigel Mansell, who usually harshly tamed the car, in the case of Alain, you never saw his car slide or go off the trajectory.

Alain Prost: "Sometimes I ask myself how I will be remembered. Someone thinks that I won by skillfully using politics to my advantage, although this is complete nonsense. But I feel like I'm being underestimated! I know it. I see. I don't know why, but in a way, this image stuck to me."
After finishing his racing career, Alain supported the Enstone teams for many years, until in January 2022 Alpine F1 began to renew the contract with the former racer in the role of non-executive director and team ambassador. Since then, he has been appearing less and less in the paddock – already in private.
