Pierre Gasly: We are in better shape than we were a year ago.

Alpine racers Pierre Gasly and Jack Duane summed up the results of the three-day preparation for the season. The team is optimistic and believes that they are in better shape than a year ago, when the results of the tests showed that the team has the slowest car.

Pierre Gasly (5th): "The three days of testing in Bahrain turned out well for us. I enjoyed being with the team again and getting a feel for the A525. We have completed many planned tasks and received interesting results that need to be discussed and understood.

I think it's safe to say that the team is in better shape at the beginning of 2025 than it was a year ago. I am happy with the car and we are in a good position for the start of the season. There's still a lot to do before the first race in Australia, but I'm happy and now I'm just looking forward to the start."

Jack Duane (12th): "You have to work hard during the tests, so thank you to the whole team for a good week in Bahrain. We spent three days cleanly, there were no problems with the car, which allowed us to drive a long distance.

The team gathered a lot of information, and I gained useful knowledge that I will apply in Australia. The weather has been changeable all week and has become a test for all of us.

I'm going to Melbourne with confidence. There is a lot ahead, so we will continue to work hard and make progress as a team."
