Hamilton offered Sainz to move to Mercedes
In the new season of the TV series Drive to Survive, there is a curious moment from the press conference of last year's Bahrain Grand Prix. At that moment, it was already known about the upcoming transfer of Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari, and Carlos Sainz was just starting to look for options for the future.
In the press room, Lewis and Carlos tried to keep their voices low, but in Drive to Survive they were able to draw out this dialogue.
"What about talking to Toto [Wolf]?" Hamilton asked Sainz.
"I haven't talked to Toto yet," Carlos replied. "And it seems to me that if he was really interested, he would have already called me.
" "Don't you think Mercedes will win again?" the Spaniard asked. "
No, I don't think so," Lewis said, but it's unclear which question he answered.
