Jack Duane fined for collision with Bortoleto

      On the last lap of the Shanghai sprint, Jack Duane crashed into Gabriel Bortoleto at turn fourteen, sending the Sauber driver into a U-turn.

      The stewards reviewed the incident and found Duane guilty of the incident. The Alpine rider received a 10-second penalty and two demerit points.

      In another incident in Turn 14 between Liam Lawson and Duane, when the riders came into contact with the wheels, the stewards did not apply penalties to anyone.
