The technical inspection of the seven-time world champion's Ferrari SF-25 after the race revealed that the control bar under the bottom was worn out more than it should be and did not meet the requirements of the technical regulations. Measurements of the bar on the left side and in the center showed that its thickness is 8.6 mm, and on the right side – 8.5 mm. According to the technical regulations, the minimum allowable thickness of the control strip along its entire length is 9 mm.
The stewards have yet to reach a verdict, but Lewis Hamilton is facing disqualification.
