Red Bull Racing is holding an emergency meeting next week where the team will discuss the poor start to the season. In the first two Grands Prix, the team scored 36 points thanks to Max Verstappen, and his new team-mate Liam Lawson did not claim a position in the top ten in any of the races and in Saturday's sprint in Shanghai.
Helmut Marko, Red Bull's motorsport consultant, said on German Sky that the team plans to discuss further steps.: "There will be a meeting in Milton Keynes this week where we will discuss what needs to be done to reduce the backlog. We're worried, but that doesn't mean we'll give up.
In the Hard tire race, we were just as fast as the leaders. The race was lost on the first Medium set. The start was also unsuccessful – Max rolled back. In the end, he was able to overtake Charles Leclair, but it was already too late.
If Max hadn't lost two positions at the start and had been faster in the first lap, he could have finished on the podium."
