Lance Stroll (12th): "It wasn't an easy race and unfortunately I didn't score any points. I thought I could do it with one pit stop, but it soon became clear that almost everyone had chosen this strategy.
It was nice to compete with our rivals, but we don't have enough speed for more. We have a lot of work to do before we can consistently finish in the points."
Fernando Alonso (exit): "The rear brakes overheated already in the first laps, so we had to remove the car.
It's always unpleasant to suddenly lose the brakes, I'm glad I managed to get to the pits. We will find out the reasons and try to fix everything by Japan. Hopefully, luck will be on our side in the next three races in a row."
