Insiders reveal that Schumacher is unable to speak.
"The family is prioritizing his well-being."
Michael Schumacher "can no longer communicate verbally," according to a well-informed source. Felix Gorner, a journalist for the German channel RTL, who closely followed the seven-time world champion's career, asserts he understands the nature of Schumacher's undisclosed health condition today. "It’s an incredibly tragic situation," he shared with RTL, over a decade after the former Ferrari and Mercedes racer’s skiing accident. "He is someone who requires care, fully reliant on caregivers. He can no longer communicate verbally." Gorner’s remarks are significant, considering the Schumacher family has consistently kept the details of his long-term brain injuries private. "Only about 20 people are permitted to be near him," he noted. "And I believe that's the correct approach. The family is acting in his best interests. He has always been very protective of his personal life, and that will remain unchanged."
